Carbon Studio collaborated with 4Experience to create a demo of a training application for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). The organization provides medical aid anywhere there is no such local service because of crises like war or natural disasters. Its staff comprises mostly of volunteers, who need to undergo extensive training in handling life-threatening situations. Normally, such training is done by enacting difficult scenarios in real life and theoretical preparation.

Creating VR simulations of dangerous environments and scenarios helps prepare these volunteers for handling them in real life without the cost and effort of creating a live-action simulation, as well as providing real time feedback and instructions.

The demo takes its participant to Sudan and tasks them with objectives like driving a mother and child to a hospital, taking a blood sample, or reaction to being held up by armed aggressors.
