Mortar is a VR demo supporting the Leap Motion controller. We developed it as an instruction tool for learning the operation of heavy machinery in a safe and cost-efficient way. The learner has to accomplish specific tasks and learn how to run the machine. The application points out any mistakes and shows how to fix them. The demo is based on the military device Dragon Fire II.

Thanks to Leap Motion, there is no need for the user to hold any additional controllers. Instead, the device tracks the movements of the hands, allowing for intuitive and accurate interaction with the in-game world.

The demo was developed with another VR studio, 4Experience.
